1. What to do well before arrival ...
Please prepare your visit (proposals, beamtime, accommodation, ...) via the
PSI User Office and the
SLS Digital User Office (DUO).
2. If you have special requirements for your measurements ...
Please inform your local contact via e-mail.
3. Upon arrival ...
On weekends and outside usual working hours you can get your badge at the main entrance
on the East Side of PSI.
If you are a first-time user, make sure to complete the safety training.
This is done on a pc in the basement of the West Side entrance building. It takes about
10 to 15 minutes, and with the printout of confirmation you can get your dosimeter from the
safety guards.

4. How to get to PSI and away ...
Public transport:
Two bus lines connect the PSI with civilisation:
Nos. 76 (to Brugg AG) and 57 (to Siggenthal-W. station, connection to Baden) .
You can find out about their schedule via the SBB Railway page.
Stops are PSI WEST and PSI OST.
5. What about food on site ...
The cafeteria Oase is open from
8:30 - 15:30, and from 17:00 - 20:00.
Close to the SLS, the cafeteria "Time-out" offers snacks and sandwiches and provides vending machines.
6. Transportation on site ...
There are 3 bikes available at the beam lines. Ask your local contact if you want to use
one.

7. Where to buy food for a long night ...
The small supermarket Volg in Villigen is open
Mo-Fr 07:30-12:15 and 14:00-18:30, Sa 07:30-16:00.
There is a little shopping mall with a fairly large Coop with more
generous opening times (until 19:00 on work days) in Wuerenlingen.
(Leave PSI at the East side, turn right at the roundabout after the forest and left at the next roundabout.)
8. Where to get COFFEE ...
Try the "Time-out" ...
and
there are vending machines in the SLS coffee room which accept
"money-charged" access cards as well as coins.
