Dewar room

The incoming and outgoing dewars are stored in the MX dewar room which is located close to the beamlines X06SA and X06DA. (Turn right when coming from the SLS entrance.)

Crystal storage

Several utilities are available at the SLS PX beamlines. Some standard equipment required for storage of samples is available.
In particular, we provide

a cold room

some storage and transport dewars

an ice machine (located at beamline X10SA)

Notes for usage of the ice machine:

make sure that the transparent tube is filled with water and that the sensor there is covered with water

keep the blue transparent cover closed during ice production

DO NOT change the temperature in the Lab!
The sensor is adjusted for a temperature of 21 �C.
Any change may cause the machine to flood the hutch ...
So, please avoid any unnecessary messing with the air condition controllers.
