Sending dewars to the PX beamlines

Dewars or dry shippers can be sent easily by a transport company to the SLS,
as is the standard, e.g., for Mail-In-Crystallography (MIX).

In order to avoid unnecessary charges at the swiss customs please read our
shipping instructions .

Send the dewars to:

or to the local contact of your shifts

The dewars will be refilled with l N₂ immediately after their arrival at the beamline and stored in the dewar room
(close to the beamlines X06SA and X06DA) on the "incoming" shelf where they can be picked up for your measurements.

If you want them back:

After your measurements you can put your dewars into the dewar room on the "outgoing" shelf.
Please provide us with

the proper address to send them to

and your customer's account number of your shipping company

We will then organise their transport back.
