November 2007
  • 5 and 10 micrometer apertures available for the MicroDiffractometer .

  • mosflm with PILATUS available.

October 2007
  • "Inverse beam" or "inverse wedges" measurements possible with the PILATUS detector.

  • NEW easy simultaneous backup using the Linux media station

  • PILATUS detector in operation on High Resolution Diffractometer since June 18th.

  • mar225 detector now on MD2. 3 times faster data collection !

  • ACTOR robot available (on the microdiffractometer, MD2). Please contact Meitian Wang if you would like to use it.

  • ACTOR robot will not be available before September shutdown due to persistent icing problems and severe problems with robot control.

  • Improved phi-axis control allowing for unlimited rotation angle and lower deadtime (2.0 - 2.2 sec / frame)
  • Fluorescence detector at micro-diffractometer operational again
